A New Powerhouse: Mac Studio M4 Max + Professional Color-Calibrated Monitor
One of the biggest upgrades we’ve made is replacing our MacBook Pro M2 Pro with a brand-new Mac Studio M4 Max, paired with a professionally calibrated color-grading monitor.
This setup is a huge leap in performance. Here’s what it means for you:

Enhanced Lighting: Aputure LS60X + Spotlight
Lighting is one of the biggest factors that separates “good” content from cinematic content. So we’ve expanded our lighting arsenal with the Aputure LS60X, complete with the spotlight attachment.
Why this matters:
We can now add more depth and dimension to your scenes
The spotlight allows us to project patterns of light (using gobos) onto backgrounds
The 60X is 300 watts lower than our LS600X units, giving us subtle, controlled, film-style lighting
More options = more creative, cinematic looks for your brand
This gives us an entirely new layer of lighting flexibility — especially for storytelling-driven, premium-looking content.
More Tools for Texture & Control: Fresnel + Barn Doors + Hollywood-Grade Diffusion Fabrics
To shape and sculpt light even further, we’ve added:
Fresnel (amplifies light up to 10x from its source)
New barn doors (for precise hard-light control)
High-end diffusion fabrics used in Hollywood
The fresnel is a multiplier of light from existing lights we have here in the studio. With the fresnel, productions where cameras face the midday sun will no longer prove challenging to light as we will now be able to achieve up to 10x the output from before.
The barn doors will enable us to further sculpt and direct hard light for more impressive illumination on-set.
The fabrics are… expensive. And while we’re keeping the exact materials a secret, we can say this: They produce an unmistakably cinematic softness that you normally only see in professional film productions. Your content will use the same lighting principles you see in movies — and that will show up on screen every single time.
Better Monitoring, Better Comfort: Extra iPad + Flexible Teleprompter Setup
We’ve also invested in upgrades that directly improve your on-camera experience — something clients consistently tell us they appreciate.
1. A second iPad for live monitoring
We now have an extra iPad dedicated to client preview and monitoring using Sony’s camera monitoring app.
This means:
You can see yourself clearly while recording
We can monitor your framing and performance in real time
You stay confident, comfortable, and in control
All while still having the primary iPad running your teleprompter script.
2. A versatile iPad holder for conversational-style videos
Not everyone wants to look straight into the camera — and not every video needs that. So we added a dedicated iPad holder mounted on a tripod, which allows you to:
Read your script naturally
Deliver more conversational or off-camera content
Maintain flow without breaking eye contact with the teleprompter
It gives you more flexibility in how you perform — and more creative options for how your content looks.
