Why we're updating our prices in January 2026

At Estudio Helios our mission has always been simple: deliver world-class audiovisual content with craftsmanship, care, and integrity.

From the day we opened our doors in Medellín, we made a choice that has shaped every project, every interaction, and every piece of content that leaves our studio:

We prioritize customer value over profit.

That has been our north star — and it’s the reason many entrepreneurs, business owners, and creators love working with us. We’ve consistently delivered high-production content at a level far beyond what is typical at our price point. And we’ve maintained those prices because we’re passionate about what we do, not because it was the most profitable approach.

But as the studio has grown, so has our responsibility to protect the quality you’ve come to expect.

Why We’re Raising Our Prices

Starting January 2026, our hourly rate will increase from $100 USD to $130 USD. This will also affect the VIP Pass prices:

  • 10 Hours Package will rise to 1,170 USD

  • 15 Hours Package will rise to 1,658 USD

  • 20 Hours Package will rise to 2,080 USD

This decision didn’t come lightly, but it’s necessary for two clear reasons:

1. Our value far exceeds our current rates

In the last year, we’ve seen competitors charging significantly more — while delivering far less.

We’ve intentionally stayed under those market rates, but the gap has grown to the point where our pricing no longer reflects the level of production quality, attention to detail, and creative guidance we provide.

Even after this adjustment, our clients will still receive more value at a better price than anywhere else offering similar services. In that sense, we’re still beating the competition — just not by undercutting them, but by delivering superior quality at a price that still makes sense.

2. We want to keep improving — not cutting corners

Producing high-end audiovisual content isn’t just about talent. It requires:

  • investing in new equipment

  • upgrading aging or faulty gear

  • keeping the studio modern and comfortable

  • experimenting with new techniques

  • improving workflows

  • training and development

  • protecting our team and clients from rising operational costs

These upgrades aren’t “nice to have.” They’re what allow us to keep delivering the level of excellence you expect when you walk into the studio.

Raising our prices ensures we can continue to grow, innovate, and maintain that standard — not compromise it.

This is an evolution — not a shift in philosophy

While the economy is changing and costs everywhere are rising, our passion for this work hasn’t changed.

We’re not trying to become the biggest studio in the world. We’re not chasing massive scale.
We’re simply committed to being the best at what we do — and staying true to the experience that makes our clients feel taken care of.

This price adjustment allows us to protect that experience and continue building a studio that feels modern, intentional, and creatively inspiring.
